Our key specialisation is in providing ‘turn key’, fully project managed dismantling and disposal solutions for site assets of most types.

In the past, these have included projects as diverse as crane driven distribution centres, aircraft and train deconstruction, railway infrastructure, and the demolition of niche installations, such as those used for testing engines from military jets.

Our clients include blue chip companies & SME’s from many backgrounds as well as local authorities, and government departments.

We pride ourselves on an innovative, friendly and customer focused approach to all aspects of the project life cycle. We are able to deploy on short notice, a fleet of the most formidable and technically advanced plant and machinery. This includes cold  shearing equipment and concrete crushing plant as well as an array of excavator based platforms . We are able to dismantle equipment by hand where required.

Health and Safety

Healthy and Safety forms the backbone of all modern project planning and is now a heavily regulated part of all that we do. From mandatory method statements and risk assessments to  construction phase development planning (CDM), we are able to deliver all elements required to comply with current health and safety regulations and most project applications.

The Construction, Design Management Regulations 2015 control all deconstruction based activities. The Act delivers a footprint of  requirements which must be complied with in construction projects. The Health and Safety Executive are the presiding authority in such matters.

Licenses and Plant Certifications

J Watson and Sons expect to provide Plant Training Licenses for all plant operators it deploys to site. All plant carries a current LOLER Certificate or Certificate of Thorough Inspection. Certificates are normally provided in advance of our arrival with other CDM documents and our Insurance Information.
